The Preschool Language Scale-3 (PLS-3) is a widely used measure which uses two broad subscales (Auditory Comprehension and Expressive Communication) to assess a variety of language based skills.

The UK version, based on a national sample of 339 children, takes into account linguistic and socio-cultural differences between the US and the UK.

The user is able to generate Total Language, Auditory Comprehension and Expressive Communication scores, standard scores, percentile ranks and language age equivalents.
