This workbook provides a collection of more than 150 activities that are designed to help school-aged children who have sensory processing or sensorimotor difficulties. It's organised according to three specific approaches:
The Systems Approach is provided for children who have specific sensorimotor processing problems in any of the six performance areas, including Gustatory/Olfactory, Praxis, Tactile, Vestibular/Proprioceptive, Upper Extremity/Fine Motor and Sequencing.
The Themes Approach offers extra motivation, coherence and purpose to the performance areas.
The Developmental Approach helps children with a wide variety of disabilities learn to interact with their environments independently by participating in movement patterns that require them to process sensorimotor information.
This excellent workbook is targeted to the occupational or physiotherapist who works in either a private practice or school setting.
The reproducible activities are enjoyable for children, and adaptable to groups or individuals.
